Welcome
For 30 years, I’ve been pushing Pixels around the Digital Canvas. Long before the boom of the “influencer”, I was happily creating, in my own corner of the wild unexplored internet. Fast forward to 2008, and I added another creative outlet – this very blog! Full of my wonderings and perceptions. Over the decades I’ve embraced every technological shift with open arms from the first clunky graphics programs to today’s mind-bending AI tools.

After years of waiting, it seems Technology has finally begun to deliver on its promise to enhance our individual capabilities and free us from the limitations of the past. These are indeed exciting and challenging times. I wonder: will our relationship with AI save us from ourselves, or will our monkey minds once again scupper our chances for a brighter future?

Below are my latest posts

My DJI Pocket 3

While as of writing I’ve only owned it for a few weeks I must confess I’m in love with this little device and more importantly I’m really enjoying light weight image capturing again.

After decades of rejecting Chinese tech, I write about what finally changed my stance and how I inherited my parent’s unconscious bias in the first place.

About A Friend

This post doesn’t say very much at all except that even for Mad loners like me friendship is important even if most of the time we’d say it was piffle.

‘New to You’ posts added.

Uploading over 100 posts that I had archived was quite an undertaking as many of them didn’t have feature images or if they did they were such a low resolution they looked awful .

Never “Just a Tree”

The mindless act of violence against the world famous sycamore tree on Hadrians wall this week has disturbed me greatly

Rant: Beware the Superhero driver

After studying Superhero drivers, I can tell you with confidence that they come in all ages and drive all kinds of vehicles from bikes to 10-ton logging trucks.
